I . . William Foreman Jr. (Continued) They established a new section naming it "Endiang" (There was a family reunion August 1975 at Endiang, Alberta.) Ellen (Nellie): the eldest daughter married Richard Gregory Allen. They too entered into the tourist Business, building the "Nepahwin Hotel" on Lake Rosseau. It was later owned by Mrs, Graham Bell. Arthur: was accidentally shot and was paralyzed. He spent: most of his life in Crippled Childrens Hospital as a child. Then as an adult, in a home for incurables. He did wood carving. He spent some of the summers here with a nurse before his parents want west. He was active on the hospital paper and ran the elevator. He died in 1918 from a flu epidemic at the age of 31. Florence (Florrie): married Harold Hunt and remained at "Endiang, Alberta" on a 1,000 acre ranch. One of her sons is still operating the ranch. After they went to Alberta the family scattered; Bert to Nevada City, Sydney to Oakland, California and Percy to Victoria, British Columbia. Percy went through World War I (19l4-191t3) without a scratch. He came back and worked in a saw mill and had an arm severed. Walter K. Foreman: married Rosanna Morrow of Muskoka Falls on May 16, 1888. They settled on the Indian River opposite Bailey Street. Halter worked at whatever was available and worked on the crew of the steamer "Winonah" the first boat. Then he became interested in tourism and built the original "Havington Farm" later named "Havington Inn". They had six children; Eva, Emma, Fred and Edgar - two died in infancy. £12: married a Wilson and moved away to Brussels. They farmed there. Emma: married Ernest Duke and remained in Port Carling. They had two children; Douglas and Verna. Verna went to Guelph and took Household Science. She taught for a while in Parry Sound then went: to Sarnia to teach. She is now retired and living in Port Carling. Douglas served in the Navy in World War II. He married and moved to North Bay. Ji,"..?-,-.:.?.:.,?.: bought the old Noble place at Rossclair when Havington Inn was sold, from the Jacksons. He still resides there. He had two sons; Garth and Mervin, also living in Port Carling. Edcar: In 1922 he worked in the Port Carling Bank as a junior clerk. He also worked in a bank in 1927 in Long Branch. He owned and operated "Havington Inn" for four years then sold it to Mr. Laird Cary in 1944. In 1947 it was destroyed by tire. Now there are several cottages and a "Riverside" restaurant which may be reached by water or road. Edgar is retired and lives in Bracebridge. Frank'. married Annie Hanna, eldest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. William Hanna. For a few years they lived in Foremans Bay near "Endiang". The bay is now called "Mirror Lake". There were eight: children in this family. They moved to Alberta and then to Penticton, British Columbia.
