Miss Ruth Thomas ‘ futh was a charter member of the revived Women‘s Institute. She served as president from 1929â€"1931 andwas secretary from 1935â€" 1938 and 1940â€"1947. Ruth was avery devoted member and served thegroup well. She was also a loyal member of the Lorneville Missionary soci¢ y. futh suffered from diabetis for many years but did not receive a early diagnosis . It eventually caused her death.
