Between 5th and 6th CGoncessions and fronting on the town line between Zldon and Maripos@ . She was the only child of Donald Jackson and Flora Mac Eachern. She married Albert Parliament, and spent the first years of their marriage in Mara Township moving to Mariposa Township, living there the rest of their lives, except for a few yearsin Woodville operating thehotel , known as the Temperance House. They raised a family of four, namelyâ€" Jackson (deceased), William of "aslo B.C., Niven of Scarborough, and Flora (Mrs. Cecil Black of Lindsay. Mrs, Parliament was the first president of Woodville W.I. in 1905. She was always an avid reader of good literature and possessed a keen intellect as long as she lived.She was always interested in current events . and world affairs,and was well informed on the family histories of the arei She died on May 7,1962 in her 87th year and is buried in Smith‘s Cemetary, Woodville.
