Notes
Mrs (Chas) Sabrina E. Elifford, Monteith's First History Curator

Mrs. Clifford began researching and compiling the early history of Monteith in November 1951. Helping her were Mrs. H.S. Lang, Mrs. N. Poirior, Mrs. A. Normandin, and Chas Ponlter (sp?) who gave her pictures and told of the early days.

Sabrina Clifford (Nee Privot) had been a school teacher and WI member in Western Canada before coming to Monteith with her husband Chas and family in 1928.
