Un Augest 11, 1979 the members of Atherton Institute were saddend to hear of the death of one Oof our true and faithful menbers in the person of Elizabeth Lee. She was our Public Relations Officer for years and held other convenerships and while able, always did a little more than her share in making Atherton Institute count. Like Paul of old "She Fought a good fight and kept the faith." 4fter her death her family wished to thank Atherton for the friendship and caring shown to their Mother and gave us a donation in her memory,. We felt it should be used in a manner that would honor her interest in the Institute. Evelyn Miller suggested a leather cover for the Tweedsmuir History Book. The curators searched and found Ir. Brad. Balch of Simcoe and he fashioned this lovely piece of work, which we wish to dedicate at this time. 14¢}.
