The final day of the [our nament was here. The Lions fans were beginning to won- der if the Lions were going to come out of the dressing room. The officials had to head to the dressing room and advise the Lions that the game was starting early as a result of the previous game finishing early. . . Momiints later, dressed in their usual green jerseys, the Beamsville Lions emerged. In their usual Red Jerseys were Beamsville Pizza Pizza. The puck was dropped and the game began! And what a great game it was too. In the net for the Lions was Devin "Dcvinator" Scott and for Pizza Pizza was Aidan Mustoe. The puck. found many different sticks during the first period, but none of which could get it in the net. Devin and Aidan both made awesome saves in the first period to keep the score at 0- 0. In the second period, Jamie Lywood lifted the puck up and got the first goal of the game. Doug Capra and Kyle Lubeniecki assisted Jamie. "I was just going to paint it plain before he came along and said 'No, I'll do the scenery,' " said Ms. Thomas. Working a couple of hours at a time, Mr. Palidwor completed the mural in approximately six days, stopping only because of the increasing cold. Once the weather turns warm again, his future plans include adding sail- boats, sunbathers, and swimmers to his mural. See Page 12
