Jrid f 1952â€"â€"1957 : 1960â€"â€"1964 Committee Memberâ€"â€" Mrs. Fred Wilson Mrs. Fred Wilson was a member of the first Tweedsmuir History Committee and contributed much to the starting and early compiling of this History Book. Nrs. Wilson first joined the Belfountsasinâ€"Rockside Branch in 1924 and served as President on three occasions â€" 1930â€"1931; smm 1939â€"1943; 1945â€"1947. She was Convener in Peel County 3 *A ’Q, Institutes; Convener of Agriculture & Canadian Industries in '4*‘ the Central Convention Area; President of Peel County Institutes * j in 1948â€"1949 and after the division was President of Peel 1e â€" North District 1949â€"1950. She was Alternate Board Director %?‘; * 1952â€"1955, taking over the duties of the Director, Mrs. Sam ooo ) Wilson who, due to illness, was not able to complete her term A/ \ of office. : \ \ Mrs. Wilson was made a Branch Life Member in August 1949 and i a District Life Member in May 1950. =Â¥~ 1 The Institute lost a faithful and enthusiastic memberâ€"â€"and 1952â€"â€"1957 a good friendâ€"â€"when Irene died, after a lengthy illness .
