The Women‘s Institute crest and our Birr Branch name were imprinted with gold lettering on the blue leatherette cover. The slipâ€"cover was made from blue denim,and metal fasteners close the envelopeâ€"styled top. The lettering "Tweedsmuir History of Birr Branch" was done with gold ink and a speedball pen. j The temporary cover was made by Mrs, Jack Legg, curator.
