Preparations were made for a number of coming events. The area convention is to be held in Exeter on Oct. 11. The theme of the convention will be "Make a World of Difâ€" ference". The annual fun night and potluck supper is to be held in Napier Oct. 30. Members will be assigned their duties at the branch meeting. The main grievances were in regard to the grammar, spellâ€" ing, punctuation and quality of content. Margaret Harris of Iderâ€" Anne Crawford was awardâ€" ed for her efforts in the area of community history. Jean McBay was awarded for her creation of a Christmas hanâ€" dicraft.
