President Evelyn Douglas read a poem called For Loveliness, followed by the reading of the minutes, the treasurer's report and the correspondence. Committees were chosen to organize the Western, Thorndale, and Dorchester Fair displays and to assist with the Stepping Out Dinner for Home Support. Sue Day read a report of the District Annual held at Mount Elgin. The roll call was a helpful gardening hint. Sue Day was auctioneer for a very successful plant auction.
