Loetat couple wed Lisa Deconinck, niece of the bride was junior bridesmaid and Sara Deconinck, niece of the bride and Kelly Bickell, niece of the groom were flower girls, They wore dresses identical to the bridesmaids and carried baskets of the same flowers. She carried a cascade of sonja roses, white "car- nations, stephanotis and ivy. Mrs. Susan Deconinck was her sister's matron of honour. The bridesmaids' were Karen Bruce, cousin of the bride, Charlote Rosehart and Chris McKim friends of the bride. All the attendants wore mint green gowns Given in marriage by her parents the bride chose a conventional white floor length gown of polyester and chiffon adorned with appliques of alenton lace. The gown featured a high neckline, shoulder frills, bishop sleeves and mbottom flounce edged with lace. He left Canada last August and returned last Wed- nesday. He was. one of 49 exchange students from Canada, the United States and Australia, in Finland. Born in Holbrook, she was the daughter of the late Mr, and Mrs. Newman Dennis. She was a member of the Burgessville Baptist Church and was a soloist and pianist of the church, also a life member of the Mission Circle. MRS. GLADYS ELMA HUGHES Mrs. Gladys Elma Hughes of Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock, formerly of Burgéssville, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 1979, at Woodstock General Hospital, in her 88th year.
