Hastings and Prince Edward was sentfor discussion from Mr, Putnam superintendant of Ontario Women‘s Institutes to [ the District Annua 1s of these counties in June 1926, ;; The consensgus of opinion being in favour of this convention, Mr Putnam notified the s District Presidents and District Secretaries that a meeting would be held in the City # 4 S# Hall, Belleville Sept 10th for further discussion and planning. Interested members might also attend. : A meeting of representative Institute women was held in the City Hall Belleville éept. 10th, It was decided to hold a convention for the Area concerned on Oct.26th and ?27th or 27th and 28th depending on train service. Afternoon and evening sessions to be held the first day and morning and afternoon sessions the second day. A programme was drafted subject to change. Exhibits were also discussed.
