- This volume is the first of 7 volumes. There is a Table of Contents on the first page. This volume contains historical information of the branch and surrounding area, including:
- membership and executive lists dating back to earliest days,
- a timeline with key events of the branch by year, meeting summaries, biographies, obituaries and photos of members, and the branch’s 40th, 50th and 60th anniversaries.
- a section of farm histories from Admaston Township, including photos of buildings, farm equipment and families.
- Other photos, newspaper clippings and postcards depict landmarks including: Galbraith School, Renfrew Victoria Hospital, swinging bridge, power house, the Bonnechere River and Renfrew Woolen Mills.
- a biography of Charlotte Whitton, originally of Renfrew, who was the first woman to serve as mayor of a large Canadian City - Ottawa.
- Several poems composed by WI members, including one that won first place in a FWIO contest in 1966
- Ends with newspaper clippings of pioneering days, documenting early technology and tools. - Notes
- This book was compiled in later years to document branch history that was lost in a fire at the Galbraith farm.
