Reports this year again, were very interesting and informative. Education in the deepest sense is continuous and life long, and in essence is unfinishable. No. of Districts =-- 13 No reporting 13 No. of Branches -- 143 No reporting 143 I am happy to report 100% from the 13 Districts comprising the Ottawa area. PROGRAMME Many branches entertained speakers with a wide variety of Topics -- A Special Education lecturer spoke on "Children with learning disabilities'"'. Another spoke on '"'The Constitution Affecting Education'"'. A talk was given : on the Life under Viet--Con rule, and developing life in Canada. OTHER INTERESTING TOPICS WERE: On the Life of Pierre Burton, Making your Will, and Positive and Negative effects of T.V. on influencing young minds. DEBATE | | | Comparing and evaluating the life style of fifty years ago, with that of today. ROLL CALLS . | * 1)}) Something money cannot buy -- one response was '"Friendship made through Womens' Institutes"'. . 2) Who lived on your Land one hundred years ago? 3) Name a Canadian Province, it's Capital or Premier. 12
