Fraser took their positioning at the base of the altar on which reposed a photograph of Sopper Cooper. Comrade Fry in charge of the party deposited a wreath which was inscribed the rank of "Sopper" below the photograph. After taking a salute, the party moved into the chancel taking up their position on each side of the altar, after which the congregation joined in the serving of two minutes silcence. While this was in progress the officer in charge took the salute, while the colour party draped the colours . Then Comrade Fraser concluded the Legion's portion of the sevice and the National Anthem was sung. ©@© ©
