A large gathering Saturday night marked the 26th annual Gathering of the Bands in Kincardine. Numerous bands provided entertainment in joined the Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band for the Saturday night march down Queen Street. More than 100 pipers and 50 d and hundreds of spectators followed behind. The free event continued with entertainment in the park following the parade. Huron Heights Public school grade 8 graduates filled the school gym as they wrapped up the school year and say good bye to their public school. Students, family and friends filled the gymnasium on Tuesday June 27, 2017 to say farewell to the school grounds which many of them have known since early childhood. It was an emotional evening for staff and loved ones to see the graduates dressed in their best as they remembered the years and have watched them grow.
