Beloved wife of the late George Harkness ( I 982). Dear mother of Mary Huber of Barrie, Ronald Harkness and Marj Nicholson of Bervie, Evelyn and Paul Fischer of Teeswater, Elda Huber and Glen Lippert of Neustadt and Donald Harkness of Fort Nelson, B. C. Sadly missed hy 24 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 10 step-great-grandchildren, I 3 great-great grandchildren and 8 step-great-great grandchildren. Also survived by daughter-in-law Linda Ergang and husband Gordon of Fort St. John, B. C " son-in-Iaw Richard Huber of Neustadt, sisters-in-law Bertha Struthers and Ina Ireland both of Teeswater, Florence Harkness of Wingham and brother-in-law Gordon Harkness of London. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents John and Margaret (Struthers) Grimoldby, son Kenneth Harkness, daughter Audrey Johnston, sons-in-law Fred Huber and Ross Johnston, sisters Marian Dentinger (John) and Jean Moffat (Doug), brother Bert Grimoldby and one brother in infancy. Predeceased by his sisters Jeanne Marie MacLennan and Gwen Pollock, and by brothers-in-law John Pollock and Grant Rice. John D. finished out his working career as an electrician with Ontario Hydro. His later years were spent The beloved husband of Joan (Courtney). John D. MacKay, of Ripley, passed away at Pineeresf Manor on Feb. 21, 2012, at the age of 77. Missed by his children: , Brian and Debbie, of Ripley; _ Ken, of Toronto; Eoin and Lisa, of Ripley; and Dar- ryl and Lianne, of Pryor, Oklahoma. Remembered by grandchildren: Sarah, Rachel (Matt) Van Hardenveld, John (Brittany), Dan, Cailin, Jack, Claire and by four great-grandchildren. _ Survived by his in-laws: George MacLennan, Evelyn Rice, Lloyd and Shirley Courtney, Mervyn and Glo- ria Courtney, and Bob and Shirley Harris. 1litrib JOHN D. Visitation was held from fl-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home in Ripley, on Friday, Feb. 24, 2012 and for one hour prior to the service on Saturday. The funeral service was conducted from Knox Presbyterian Church, Ripley, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012.
