Pieces Coming Together Create Community
We believe that: Happy hearts build homes, collectively happy homes build communities. These communities lead to a happy healthy country.
Our team has created a "Home" because we feel that WI is represented in all our homes and communities through our Fellowship and helping others along the way. The FWIO organization started in a small family home and grew to be known around the world.
WI means connecting with others without judgment, listening, and learning new skills and ideas, and meeting interesting people.
The WI is also about helping others through educational projects, donations, giving a hand or a heart, and a feeling of belonging to society, all of this while providing laughter and respect, and fun no matter the topic.
Our team in the picture represents only a few of the many workshops we have taken or led over the many years through Women's Institute: Gardening, Sewing, Agriculture, and Baking.
The FWIO motto says it all: "FOR HOME AND COUNTRY".
