- WOW! CELEBRATING 125 YEARS
Candles and cakes and friends, oh my! The Springwell Sisters celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Federated Women’s Institute of Ontario. We do this in play, the most creative endeavour of all.
As Women’s Institute members, we walk in the giant footsteps of the women who tenaciously founded our organization. Those pioneers foresaw a need to form groups dedicated to our common purposes – education, leadership training, community safety, charitable works, preservation of local history, networking and best of all, forging friendships.
