Description
It was a cold but sunny morning when the Fairfield Wiley Investigators set out on foot on their quest to complete Clue Number 2. “To use Legos to create a scene that represents the Women’s Institute”. We headed over to Lindsays’ another WI, and with the help of her 4yr old son, Oliver, we would build our scene. Thankfully Oli, had a huge selection of Legos to choose from and with his expert help the building began.

As you can see from the photo our W.I. Is rural-farm based. Our front door is always opened, welcoming to everyone. We are also mindful of our responsibility of our role of providing for others -eggs from the hens and crops from the fields. Oli especially enjoyed making the tractors that are used in the spring to ready the fields for crops and then again for harvesting in the fall.

Our W.I. is also aware that we are connected to our urban family. We created a bridge that spans rural and urban. To us the Women’s Institute is an environment where we all grow, help each other and have fun!
