- PLAY & PAY IT FORWARD .......AN ACT OF KINDNESS FINDS FRIENDSHIP AND MEMBERSHIP!
Our Team loved this Activity! Our team met at a local coffee shop and looked for a “candidate.” Then one of us approached a woman who was buying tea, and engaged her in conversation. Her name was Sharon and she did know about Women’s Institute, but had never joined. She was invited to attend any meeting of the Codrington Branch, and she has a contact name and phone number. She was also aware that our Branch supports an annual Clean-Up initiative in the local community, and, being environmentally savvy, she appreciates that.
Although Sharon had already paid for her tea, and wouldn’t take any money, a member of our Team is going to take her out for tea at a future date. Sharon accepted the bookmark with thanks, and was happy to have her picture taken accepting it.
