On a bright sunny morning in late October, the Go Get 'Em Gals had fun transitioning to the team of Happy Halloween Gals in the farmhouse of team captain Margie P. While acknowledging the golden fields of corn waiting to be harvested, and within view of the large dining room window, Mary Jane ( MJ ), Anna L and Chrissy B gathered around the pumpkin and gourd laden table to have some spooktacular fun.

The assorted orange and orange/ green pumpkins soon became the focus of conversation. With spindly long-legged deep- black spiders making their way across the table, and lively conversation about Jack O' Lanterns, haunting ghosts and goblins being shared, the Gals enjoyed the opportunity to be creative together.

As the Go Get ' Em Happy Halloween Gals busily carved and chatted about the success of the recently convened Southern Area Convention, Fall Festivals, and memories of past Halloween traditions, a green faced witch, Hawaiian gal, ghostly goblin and butterfly beauty found their way among the homegrown pumpkins and gourds. With pumpkin seeds set aside for roasting and toasting, the room took on a definite Halloween flare.

The final display looked awesome, complete with an orange and black bat-laden tablecloth adorning the once plain table now acting as the stage for a festive Halloween celebration. Donned in colourful ghostly Halloween garb and comfy seasonal hats, the Go Get 'Em Happy Halloween Gals shared hot tea and tasty treats. Upon departure the whimsical and spooktacular creatures silently slipped into the Gals' bags and boxes knowing that they would be welcomed to the Halloween celebrations in the homes of Margie P, MJ, Anna L and Chrissy B. Happy Halloween !
