Description

Our Scavenger Hunt Shenanigans

A group of four Scavenger Hunters
Expecting to scour the planet
Were Iris, Sharran, Brenda and Janet.
We photographed a flagpole project,
Created a Lego object,
Painted stones with messages of connectivity,
Paid it forward in a restaurant
In our neighbourhoodity.
Costumes were worn in splendidity
A pumpkin carved in our imagery.
And lastly a poem of creativity
Describing our shenaniganivities.

The author, Dr. Seuss was responsible for the quote: “If you Persevere and Refuse to Give Up, You Can Accomplish Your Goals in the End”. Our group selected the book Green Eggs and Ham as representative of perseverance. Sam-I-Am successfully hounded and persisted in pushing his friend to try eating something he did not want to try until he broke his friend’s resolve. In the end, his friend tasted green eggs and ham and discovered he liked them! For Sam-I-Am, Goal Achieved.
We four Detective Divas persevered and completed our Scavenger Hunt tasks. It wasn't a hardship and in fact built a stronger bond between us. Our photo from left to right is Janet our Hunter, Sharran a Detective, Brenda a Painter and Iris a Diva.
