Copy of the First Minutes New Dundee June 19th 1907 Our first meeting of the New Dundee Board of the Women Institute was held at the home of Mrs. A.J. Rice, at Wednesday at 3 O’clock p.m. Mrs. Rice opened the meeting by singing a Hymn entitled “Gathering In The Sheaves.” After which followed the Criudents Address. After this she asked the secretary to read the minutes, which were arranged. It was moved by Mrs. N.U. Bauman, seconded by Mrs. Bert Kniesel that we leave how often we meet till a later date. It was moved by Mrs. N. U. Bauman, seconded by Mrs. M. F. Annes, that we hold our next meeting the third Wednesday of July (July 24th). Moved by Mrs. N. U. Bauman, seconded by Mrs. Annes that we hold our next meeting at Mrs. John Clujmens residences. As there was no one present to discuss the simple breakfast, Mrs. Rice gave a few remarks. After which followed a discussion by those present. After this Mrs. N. U. Bauman spoke on a simple dinner for a berry time after which followed a short discussion. No one was present to speak on the Simple Supper for berry time, but all present gave a few helps. We then discussed the meeting by repeating the Lords Prayer in Crueint. Mrs. H.
