Since then, plans have been completed and the time schedule of events is as follows: Friday - August 1 7:00 p.m. Softball Game California Cuties vs. New Dundee Dodgers 9s00 p.m. Crowning of Heritage Queen Judging of Beards Teen Dance on tennis courts Giant Fireworks at dusk Saturday - August 2 7:30 a.m. Pancake Breakfast 10:30 a.m. Parade of Bands and Floats 12:00 p.m. Opening Ceremonies 2:00 p.m. Entertainment on Bandshell 4:00 p.m. Barbecue 9:00 p.m. Adult Dance on Tennis Courts Sunday - August 3 11:00 a.m. Interdenominational outdoor Church Service in park 12:30 p.m. Bring your own picnic lunch 2:00 p.m. Official Opening of School Reunion 4:30 p.m. School Reunion Supper 7:30 p.m. Hymn Sing & Band Concert at the Park Monday - August 4 10:00 a.m. Soap Box Derby on Main St, 2:00 p.m. Mini-Parade for the Children in the Park 4:00 p.m. Closing Ceremonies Golden Centennial souvenirs are on sale at the Board of Trade office (old Library Building) on South Street in New Dundee every Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.. Local residents are encouraged to take advantage of the "pre-registration" and receive your souvenir programme package and avoid the line-ups during the weekend. Pre-registration will commence July 17th at the above location and during the times stated. More volunteers are required to assist with registration, souvenir sales, and the booths in the park during the Celebration. If you can help, please let one of the Committee members know. For those who have not returned their reply card, its still not too late, and we encourage you to do so. Tickets for the "Adult Dance" are on sale for $5.00 per person and available at the Board of Trade office. Indications are the Dance will be a sell-out, so to avoid disappointment, get your tickets now. We hope to see all of you at our "Golden Centennial" Celebration.
