Limehouse (before 1935) LIMEHOUSE CLIFFS, south of Limehouse, takes in most of land owned by the Credit Valley Conservation Authority and is considered an area of historic and environmental importance. WATERFALL PARK situated north east of Limehouse evironmentally sensitive area through which runs the Bruce Trail. This rare photograph shows a lime kiln "burning" 9 (centre). The Limehouse store is front right while the mill pond, saw mill, cement factory are located to the rear left. The Gowdy and Moore Lime Company and Toronto Lime Company operated here from 1857 until the last kiln was "fired-up" in 1915.
