Transferred to Royal Canadian Engineers in United Kingdom. going with them to Prance in July 1944. Through Belguim, Holland and into Germany. Near Wilhamshaven when peace was declared. Returning to Holland until November 1945. Returned to Canada on the Queer Elizabeth December 29, 1945, Received discharge at London, Ontario. February 2, 1946, Died at Halton Centennial Manor, Milton June 4, 1979. Buried at Acton, in 79thyear.
