I think the year on this photo is incorrect, as these soldiers are in WW1 uniforms.

The 162nd Battalion were authorized 22 Dec 1915. They did not reach Niagara Camp until the summer of 1916! They were then sent to England 31 Oct 1916 where they were absorbed into other Battalions.
