- Balsam Hill is a farming community situated in Admaston Township in Renfrew County. It is named after the township’s first post office and is the only remaining branch in the township.
Balsam Hill has its own museum; a one-room school that classes from Renfrew County visit each spring to see what it was like to be a student in a one-room school. IT is a living museum.
Balsam Hill W.I.’s Tweedsmuir History is composed of two volumes of W.I. history and events and 16 books of community history, divided into various topics and timeframes.
